Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra turn singers to promote 'Daawat-e-Ishq'

The upcoming release ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ is yet another filmy serving of a romantic tale coming from Yash Raj Films. This film has Prineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur playing the lead roles. It revolves around two individual coming from different cultures that find love in each other’s company. Aditya Roy Kapur plays the role of a local cook who serves delicious food to his customers. News is that Parinneti Chopra and Aditay Roy Kapur recently promoted their film in an event in Delhi. At this event, the audience saw them singing a part of the title song of the film ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’. This event also marked the launch of the very same song. We can see that after Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, singing to promote a film has become a trend and a quite popular one.

 

The title song of Daawat-e-Ishq is quite catchy and groovy. It has an element o rock to it. The song also includes an overall Lucknowi feel. Parineeti and Aditya were not shy from singing a few lines of the song at the launch in front of a live audience in Delhi. Recently the duo was seen making a special appearance in one of the Eid special episodes on a Zee TV’s show titled ‘Qubool Hai’. Over here we saw Parineeti give a performance with television actor Karanvir Bohra. The actor expressed his joy of being a part of this stint as he said, "When I first met her I was glad to have met a girl who has an amazing sense of humor. While the two of us got along really well, I wish I could have had my wife meet her too. I'm sure my wife would have got along equally well with her. None-the-less, it was great fun to be shooting this Eid special. I wish everybody a very Happy Eid and hope everybody enjoys a delicious Eid with Dawaat-e-Ishq releasing around the same time."

 

In recent times the industry has witnessed quite a few actors that turned into singer for their films. Shraddha Kapoor was seen singing ‘Galliyan’ in the film ‘Ek Villain’, in which she played the character of a girl who is bubbly and full of life. This song received a lot of positive response. We also saw Alia Bhatt who sang the unplugged version of the song ‘Samjhawan’ in her recent release ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

 

The film ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ is supposed to release on the 5th of September this year. This will release on the same day as ‘Mary Kom’, which is a biopic on a famous boxing champion who won laurels at the Olympics starring Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra. It will be interesting to watch which one of these talented cousins wins the fight at the box-office. We are yet to see f the film offers us just another romantic tale or whether it serves us a fresh concept. From the trailer, we can predict that this film will offer us typical Bollywood romance mixed with ultra filmy dialogues.
