New Movie Welcome Back Directed By Anees Bazmee

 

'Welcome' is a comedy caper Directed by Anees Bazmee of 'No Entry' fame and produced by Firoz .A. Nadiadwala and Ronnie Screwvala under the banner UTV MOTION PICTURES headed by its CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor. The film features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapor, Nana Patekar, Feroze Khan, Paresh Rawal, Katrina Kaif, Mallika Sherawat. The movie was a sounding success due to its absolutely perfect comic timing and well placed sequences. One of the best departments where the film earned some great brownie points is the clarity of dialogue delivery which was undoubtedly unabashed and perfect. The movie also managed to create some ever-lasting punchlines that are used even today! The film was a humongous hit among the youth. It released worldwide on December 21, 2007.

 

The makers of the movie have decided to make a sequel to the monstrous hit Welcome titled 'Welcome Back' starring John Abraham and southern bombshell, daughter of the veteran mega star Sir Kamal Hassan, Shruti Haasan. Sara Loren has a guest appearance; Dimple Kapadia is also an addition to the cast. The movie is also directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and Ronnie Screwvala. The filming of the sequel began in the second half of 2013 and is expected to release towards the end of the year in or around December 2014.

 

Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor reprise their roles of Uday Shetty and his side kick Manju bhai respectively. The madness is expected to double this time with the sequel promising to be a full on entertainer perhaps living up to the last installment. The first look of the film was launched amidst great fanfare and madness (expected in the presence of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar!). Shruti Haasan looked svelte in a Little Black Dress with an interesting halter neck which showed off perfectly her toned figure. John was his usual dapper self in a velvet black blazer with satin lapels.

 

Amitabh Bachchan, Kainaat Arora and Aruna Irani also star in this film. The first schedule of the movie was being shot in Dubai. The music for the movie is being composed by Anu Malik. One can expect mindless, loud but lip smacking songs coming from the music director's studio! 

 

John Abraham who rose to fame with his movie Dhoom for his seriously dashing looks and toned body he showcased in the movie has been in the news for his breakup with long time girlfriend Bipasha Basu and marriage to Priya Runchal, an investment banker from London whom he apparently met in the same gymnasium where John and Bipasha both used to work out! John has also built a state of the art, high end gymnasium in Worli providing world class equipments and best trainers!

 

Shruti Haasan on the other hand is known to everyone as the daughter of noted and veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika of Bheja Fry fame. She grew up in Chennai and later moved to Mumbai for her further studies. She has attained a degree in music from the Musicians Institute based in California. She debuted in Bollywood in the year 2009 with Luck which failed to click at the box office. She has done various movies down south and is known for her striking similarity to her mother Sarika Thakur.
