Sonam Kapoor has asked Rs 5 crore for a South film opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin

Actress Sonam Kapoor is in the buzz lately because of her upcoming movie Khoobsurat, where she reportedly demanded Rs 5 crore for a South Indian film opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin. But the makers had to drop the plan to cast her because of her high demands!
 
Sonam Kapoor the biggest fashionista of Bollywood is now to be seen in her  upcoming film Khoobsurat  . Fawad Khan a well known celebrity from Pakistan who has now entered the Indian film industry in the role of Prince Vikram Singh Rathore will be sharing the screen space with the Kapoor girl. Fawad Khan is now the hub of attraction in Bollywood with hiss looks that can kill, especially due to his astonishing and eerie resemblance to the most desirable and dashing Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who dwells in the hearts of many.
 
 
Fawad Afzal Khan, one of the most famous faces of Pakistan has drawn criticism for his decision to enter Bollywood, but he is not bothered with the criticisms and says art is something that travels across borders. He will be making his acting debut in Bollywood with film Khoobsurat — an official remake of 1980 hit of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s of the same name, opposite the gorgeous actress Sonam Kapoor. But even before the release, Pakistani actor Fawad has earned a huge name, fame and fan following, thanks to the show Zindagi Gulzar Hai on small screen, which was aired on Zindagi channel, a channel that’s a bridge between the two countries. When asked about his opinion on the criticism, he replied: “The people you are talking about are very few. There will be people who will criticize. They are entitled to their opinion. Even if someone from India goes to work there, someone or the other will make noise.” “Art is something that travels across all borders. Art knows no culture and creed. As an actor, I would like to explore myself. I do feel bad, but I choose to ignore criticism. I think to pay attention to it is unnecessary,” he added.  Spoke like a wise! Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film Khoobsurat has been produced by Sonam’s dad Anil Kapoor the legend of Bollywood and Sister Rhea under the banner of Anil Kapoor’s Film Company Pvt. Ltd. The film features Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Afzal Khan, Ratna Pathak , Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Aamir Raza Hussain in lead roles.Fawad says, it’s an honour to collaborate with the Kapoors for his Bollywood acting debut.
 
Fawad who will be playing the character originally played by another legend Rakesh Roshan thinks that his character in this film is very unique and different from the original character. “I saw the original film as part of my homework. It is a timeless classic but our film is different. Rakesh Roshan played the role of a doctor and I play a Rajput prince, so it’s different in a way,” he said. While Sonam Kapoor, who has stepped into Bollywood’s queen of seduction Rekha’s shoes for the Khoobsurat remake. She says she is not even a small patch on the senior actor who is still known for effortlessly and elegantly playing the carefree, bubbly and chirpy girl in the original film. “I don’t think I can do justice to anything Rekha has done,” said Sonam Kapoor.
