Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva in ABCD2

Anybody can dance2 is a dance musical movie directed by the ace dance choreographer Remo D’Souza. He has choreographed dance sequences for many Bollywood films like Jai Ho, F.A.L.T.U, London Dreams, Rock On, Besharam, Dhoom, etc. His career as a choreographer started in the year 1995 and he has done nearly 100 Bollywood films as a choreographer. He has also ventured into directing movies, with F.A.L.T.U, being his first directorial debut in 2011. He has also directed the Bollywood version of Hollywood’s High School Musical meets the Set-up series. 

 

This is the first dance and music based Bollywood film that has used a very western and contemporary style in dancing for the movie. ABCD aka Anybody Can Dance starred the ace dance choreographer of South Indian film industry Prabhu Deva, and other Bollywood dance choreographer Ganesh Acharya, etc. This movie was a blockbuster and has made a profit of $440 million dollars. Remo has also been a judge on many television music reality shows in the past. His movie ABCD is based on the emotions of the contestants who are participating in a reality show. It depicts the political tapestry, and the manipulative tactics of people in power who show bias toward participants and decide the fate of talented contestants.

 

Varun Dhawan, the son of the ace director David Dhawan is a part of this dance movie sequel of Anybody Can Dance. ABCD2 also has the cast of Shraddha Kapoor, and Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva is famous for his unpredictable dance moves and is said to be influenced by Michael Jackson. Remo is yet again going to direct this sequel and the plot of this movie is not yet published. It is produced by the UTV acion, Siddharth Roy Kapur and will be shot in locations like Las Vegas, and various locations in United States in America and India. This movie is still under production and only star cast of this movie has been disclosed.

 

 

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor will be paired opposite each other for the first time in this film. This 27 year old actor has entered the film industry after gaining a degree in Business Management from a university in England. Before making his debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year, he assisted him as an assistant director in the film, My Name is Khan. Shraddha Kapoor’s performance in the movie Aashiqui2 was highly appreciated. Her dancing along with her acting will be tested together in this film. Prabhu Deva has made Hritik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit dance to his tunes in movie like Lakshya and Pukar. He has acted in many Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films and also choreographed dance sequences in many Hindi and regional films. Prabhu Deva has directed a few South Indian films and ABCD is his debut as an actor in a Bollywood film. He has won many national awards for choreographing dance in many regional Indian films. This is sequel of ABCD film has not repeated its star cast except for Prabhu Deva.
